YOUR ELEMENTAL NATURE

 Ayurveda recognizes that each person is unique, yet within all the variation, certain patterns emerge. In Ayurveda, these patterns reveal 7 distinct body types.

 

Understanding your unique body type is a game changer. It gives you a way to  decode the signs and symptoms your body and mind express, and a roadmap to resolving imbalances at their root.  When you understand the meaning of your symptoms,  you can take the right actions to regain balance.

In this 4 lesson audio course you'll learn about the different body types and discover yours. In each lesson, I'll guide you through some questions that will help you clarify the  patterns of balance and imbalance in your organism. From there, I'll describe the ways you can regain balance by adopting simple daily rituals.  Each week you'll be invited to create a new  practice, based on that week's lesson and how it applies to you. By the end of four weeks you'll have a deeper understanding of your unique nature and how to care for it. 

Whether traveling, in transition or healing from an illness or injury, knowing what to do best support your system, makes all the difference in your recovery. Take your self-care to the next level with an understanding of your unique body type and how to create the best conditions for dynamic health, satisfaction and wellbeing anytime.

I recommend listening to one lesson a week to give yourself time to digest and integrate the material as you go.

Week 1:  Listen to the lesson on Vata Dosha. Download, read, and fill in the Vata Growth Work. Fill in the growth work with the habit you want to work on this week. Begin to incorporate your practice into your daily life. 
 

Week 2: Listen to the lesson on Pitta Dosha. Download and then read the Pitta Growth Work. Fill in the growth work with the habit you want to work on this week. Begin to incorporate that second habit into your daily routine. 
 

Week 3: Listen to the lesson on Kapha Dosha. Download and then read the Kapha Growth Work. Fill in the growth work and the habit you want to work on this week. Begin to incorporate your third habit into your daily routine.
 

Week 4: Listen to the lesson on Prakriti. Download and then read the Prakriti Growth Work. Take the Constitutional Quiz and tally your score as directed. When you complete this, schedule a brief 1 - 1 with Shannon and she'll help you confirm your results and best practices going forward.

Vata Lesson

Step 1: Listen to the lesson on Vata Dosha.

Step 2: Download, read, and answer your growth work questions.

Step 3: Begin to incorporate your new ritual into your daily life. 

 

Camp Fire

Week 2

Pitta Lesson

Step 1: Listen to the lesson on Pitta Dosha.

Step 2: Download, read, and answer the questions in your Pitta growth work. Create a new daily ritual to balance pitta. 

Step 3: Incorporate your new ritual  into your daily life. You now have two new rituals to practice.

Kapha Lesson

Step 1: Listen to the lesson on Kapha Dosha.

Step 2: Download, read, and answer the questions in the Kapha growth work. Create a new daily ritual to blance kapha, or add an additional vata or pitta pacifying ritual. 

 

Step 3: Continue your daily practice which includes three new rituals.

Prakriti Lesson

Step 1: Listen to the lesson on Prakriti.

Step 2: Download, read, and answer the  Prakriti growth work. Take the constitutional quiz below. 

 

Step 3: Take the constitutional quiz as directed below, tally your score, and when you're complete, schedule your brief 1 - 1 with Shannon to confirm your results and discuss best practices.
