I’m experimenting with pealing back many layers of self-concept to see what is essential and core. Stepping away from mind and making way for intuition is a continual practice. The clearing away of old concepts is making the call to write more and more auditable. Meditation, inquiry, and Centering Prayer are my foods most nourishing. Mindfulness is my growing presence. Having a 6-year-old makes a daily writing commitment tough, but a very worthy challenge. Also, I’d like to have regular walks of quiet personal time to ground more deeply.
