Transitions! I remember Shannon saying once in a yoga class, “Watch your transitions.” And then yesterday, she mentioned using transitions as a time to be quiet and still. Why do we rush the in-between so much? I have been trying to pay more attention to transitions, and I am finding much more ease than I expected! The transition time before getting out of the car, the transition walk between meetings, the transition after a meal, the transition before lights out… All are small opportunities to stop, breathe, and regroup. It also helps to prepare for those times when you need to be receptive to others. And it helps to focus more on the next topic. Stop, breathe, regroup. My mantra for this week..
