I'm feeling fortunate to be beginning year 2!

Right now I'm focusing on calming my nervous system to relieve anxiety and Ayurveda has so many good practices for this. I'm spending time meditating everyday, using the meditation/breathwork recordings from mid-November in the 'Yoga Library' tab- such sweet practice. I like to do it at dusk, or soon after. It leaves me with a calmness and groundedness that has a cascading effect.


The photo above is from my summer garden. I was looking at a seed catalogue yesterday and felt such a longing in my heart & solar plexus to be with flowers again, and wonder that such beings exist! I also loved the recent snow and need winter to cool my pitta self, to both recover from and prepare for summer heat. Such a juxtaposition!
