Here's something from the sleep foundation supporting the Ayurvedic practices of "kitchen closed," after supper, and eating at regular times to improve sleep! 12 hour fast between supper and breakfast the following day is something to shoot for on average. Longer fasts occasionally, or for those with more kapha, who can go longer, comfortably without breakfast. (Remember, this is NOT about not eating when hungry).
