Āyurveda (pronounced, EYE-yur-veda) is a 5,000 year old system of natural medicine, originating in the Indus Valley in India. It is a complete medical system, with eight branches including surgery, family medicine, pediatrics, rejuvenation, healthy aging, toxicology, mental illness and diseases of the ears, nose and throat.
