Join us this Solstice for this immersive yoga retreat.

We'll come together for 3 practices a day of active and restorative asana, pranayama, self-inquiry, yoga philosophy Āyurveda wisdom and meditation. 

​

The asana is slow and thoughtful, inspired by the Shadow yoga tradition--a blend of martial arts, dance and yoga forms. This is not a fast, sweaty vinyasa practice, but a breath centered slow flow which allows us to enter the forms at just the level we can, without over effort-ing, straining or losing the breath. 

 

Between group sessions enjoy time in the healing waters and steam sauna, at the River,  walking the grounds and relaxing in and around the lodge.

 

Healing Arts practitioners are on site for massage sessions.

Retreat offers an accelerated experience of what's possible when we rest, connect meaningfully with community and nourish ourselves with things that really matter and bring us joy. Dharma talks, ritual fires, BB community offerings and time in silence and self-inquiry will support our soul's unfoldment at this time.  

Shannon's been creating and facilitating yoga retreats since 1991. She loves to gather together in potent Natural environments for practice, renewal and self-inquiry, in the service of personal and collective healing and transformation.

This retreat is appropriate for all levels yoga pracxtitioner with at least 1 year's practice, and no major injuries.
