Hi, I'm Shannon McCall

Yoga and Meditation Teacher, Ayurveda Practitioner, Health Coach and Mentor.

I  believe  our bodies are designed to heal and that we're here to grow and evolve together over our precious lifetime.  Early childhood trauma sparked a deep desire in me to understand and evolve patterns of harm and suffering and find pathways to truth, beauty and love. I've lived a life centered around  yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, nature, self-inquiry, psychological healing, music, motherhood, conscious relationship and community. I take great joy in sharing these paths with others.

I'm a teacher and mentor supporting women in understanding and embodying their unique nature. I point you in the direction of  body, mind, soul healing and transformation through living in alignment with natural rhythms, tailored to your unique nature and life stage.  The practices of yoga, ayurveda and self-inquiry clear blockages, nourish vitality, ignite mental clarity and foster soul growth and your innate body wisdom. After working with me, women feel more in touch with themselves, their bodies, their work in the world and empowered to live in ways that foster satisfaction in relationships and within themselves.

ABOUT

I believe our personal healing is best served when in relation to collective healing. I offer classes, retreats and groups where we come together to learn, practice, inspire, challenge and support one another in our personal and collective healing and transformation.

I'm indebted to the many wise teachers I've had who've taught, mentored and modeled for me the paths of  self-healing, self-transformation and collective healing and evolution.  These teachers include Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. Claudia Welch,  Dr. Robert Svoboda, Dr. Scott Blossom, Reggie Ray, Angela Farmer, Victor van Kooten, Ana Forrest, Denise Benitez, Doug Keller. Jeanne Castle, Janet Adler and all my teachers in the Ridhwan school.

I've traveled all over Southeast Asia, lived and taught yoga on Bali throughout the 1990′s, and spent many months studying and exploring India.  I am a mother to a now grown son, who is also a trained yoga teacher.
