Winter Wellness Retreat
at Casa Tara, La Ventana, Baja, Mexico
Feb 8 - Feb 15th, 2027
with Shannon McCall
and special guest, Kat Allen
Schedule some time mid-winter to nourish and recharge your body, mind and soul in beautiful Baja, where the desert meets the Sea. The Natural beauty at Casa Tara and the Sea of Cortez will be the uplift and inspire the Spirit.
Retreat offers an accelerated experience of what's possible when we center practice, rest, and meaningful connection. During the week we'll meet for practice three times each day, with a breath centered focus in both active and restorative asana, yoga nidrā, meditation, Āyurveda wisdom and self-inquiry. Dharma talks, time in silence and with good company will support our retreat together.
This retreat is appropriate for all levels yoga practitioner with at least 1 year's practice, and no major injuries.
CEU's available for yoga teachers.
Shannon's been creating and facilitating yoga retreats since 1991. After years exploring and teaching Winter retreats in the Yucatan peninsula, Mexico, she traveled to Baja for the first time in 2021, and fell in love at first site. She's excited to be returning again this year, in service to our collective healing and transformation together, through the life-affirming and transformative practices of yoga and Āyurveda.

"My Baja week was a truly beautiful experience. Everything about you, your calmness, knowledge, beauty, encouragement and acceptance allowed me to grow within myself. I got all I'd hoped for and more."

"How can I begin to thank you for your yoga teaching, wisdom and choosing such an amazing place! The retreat went far beyond what I expected. I was in such a wounded state of mind (when I arrived) and the classes, environment, food and people helped me heal and move on in my life."
-CS, Seattle
"The Baja Mexico retreat touches everyone who participates. Shannon’s yoga classes help the group acclimate to the high temperatures and dry air, and she models how to respect your body, even in its crankiness, with a unique mix of thoughtfully taught asanas. I loved relaxing into the sun, warmth, and physical beauty of the flora and fauna of desert life while learning about the places in my body that needed more support. I made wonderful connections within myself and with a lovely collective of yoga friends. The retreat center is gorgeous, spacious and serves delicious and creative fare. What a glorious experience!"
-JR, Seattle
We hope to practice with you this Winter and co-create a beautiful retreat experience.
